28/1/05 Outta My Head..Back in five is released TODAY. Artwork was completed this week and the first cds were produced for despatch today The CD also has a bonus track included .Untouched has been finally updated too and is available.
12/01/05.... OUTTA MY HEAD, BACK IN 5 is complete from a recording point of view. Cover to finalise and we're done. Seegar is very pleased with the outcome. So, album should be available in the next 2 weeks as will the mini album Untouched which has not been previously available. Stay tooned AND happy new year! (on the original track list, Channel 2 is broken has been replaced with the instrumental...Save Me)
8/11/04.... Recording of the new project is almost complete. One track has been rejected and will have to be replaced. The other tracks need mixing and additional lead guitar work but are progressing nicely. Work has also been done on the cover too. Not long now......

17/10/04 Work has started on a new cd project entitled...' Outta my Head, Back in 5 '. 12 songs have been written for the new cd and it will be available on Vitaminic soon as well as direct. Untouched will also finally be available in new livery too. Outta my head will have cd artwork created by the acclaimed Helz Belz studio. Stay tooned.......

14/6/03 Seegar spent a good 3/4 of an hour in local BBC radio today in Shrewsbury, Shropshire talking to the early morning DJ (Eric) live on air and presented the crew with Touched to play on air at some point. Interesting to watch the crew at work in the studio. Very slick and professional. Cooooool time!
13/6/03 Well, it has been a hectic 6 months since the last insert. Seegar has been busy setting up a new business with a few friends around the country but now has a little breathing space. Untouched , although on general release, has not been on MP3 or Vitaminic, purely because of time constraints.Seegar, because of this has decided to relook at the UNTOUCHED recordings and modify them slightly. This will be done over the next month and then put up on the two sites. A new project is bubbling under the surface called Project Rhino............stay tooned as they say.............(anyone who has already purchased Untouched should get in touch with Seegar Productions (by e-mail) to get on the list for a complimentary copy of the modified Untouched album)

Untouched is due for general release from January the first 2003 (sorry for the delay).It will hopefully be on MP3 and Vitaminic from some point during that week.
Delay has been due to the hectic time from mid Nov till now and a few last minute changes to the CD, exclusively artwork.
Reaction to the CD in the fan arena has been more positive than the reaction to Touched.More fan sampling has been going on in the last week and we are awaiting responses. Well relay them through the website. Any comments are welcome to seegar@seegar.co.uk.

11/11/02 Untouched is complete!!!
We are told by Seegar that the mini 5 track CD was completed over the weekend with all artwork completed too and the first few cds manufactured for approval purposes.
The official album title is now UNTOUCHED.
The track listing is as follows:

Here is what Seegar has to say:
" Hi...well!!!! what a feeling it is to finish a project and have the final product in your hand. I am very pleased with the outcome I have to say. The sessions were quite extended and it was hard work doing it ALL on my own with no other ears to bounce ideas off but I am quietly smiling.The artwork comprises of some photography taken from the Western Isles photo sessions and some from Wales. There is one of a waterfall and just after it was taken,I slipped on the rock I was standing on and smacked my arm hard on the rock. (nothing broken but it hurt like hell for days!!)
It always amazes me that you go into the studio expecting the unexpected and it ALWAYS happens.Perseverance on some days pays off.The CD will be formally released in a couple of weeks time.It should be available on MP3 in California and Vitaminic in Torino,Italy (both on the web) and of course direct from Seegar Productions Ltd.I am keen to guage opinion on the new release,so am looking forward to letting it fly.
I had HUGE fun putting it together and I do hope you like it.

Sooo...exciting stuff in the Seegar camp and he tells us that he is already looking outward to the next full album and getting ideas sorted out in his head for this next project.
The mini CD is fantastic...some surprises but still...fantastic.
It probably is more complex than Touched with more layers but works well.(we are biased of course)

22/10/02 The mini CD project entitled " Untouched" (CD title to be decided yet) is well underway with 4 tracks recorded and one more to go. Songs are all recent compositions (written for this project). They are:

In a Heartbeat.
Seegar says.."The time it takes to do this in solus fashion is terribly extended in comparison to the recording of Touched.In a day on Touched,I would typically work on 3 songs.On Untouched,I am lucky to get through ONE!! That apart...the quality of the songs and recording has put a smile on Seegars face.The production phase will take place only after the final song is recorded to my satisfaction. I am looking forward to the finished article as I believe there are some very strong songs on it.Even stronger than Touched. Timing is for release by the end of November with all recording and production by the end of October.(1st week in November at latest). Going through the creation process is very exciting because you just NEVER know what its going to end up like. Stay Cool!! x"
As Seegar says.....End of November release and it is intended to have it available on MP3.com and Vitaminic.co.uk as soon as possible after that so you can buy on line as well as through PO Box 545.

Work has begun on the between albums mini CD as yet un-titled.All songs have been written recently and the first one," Need Your Heart Today" is complete and produced.Work has begun on" You Know Its True" with Too Blue For You to follow.The final song has yet to be decided upon.(Might even be a bonus song on the CD...still to be decided yet)
The style of music is relatively unchanged but the production by Seegar is quite different from the album Touched which was produced by Andrew Sparkes and Seegar at Made To Measure Studios in Birmingham.
Seegar says.." Having completed Need Your Heart quite recently and listened to the final mix, I am very excited by the outcome.Solus production duties are quite lonely at times but the buzz of soup to nuts project control is wonderful. Aim is to have the mini CD mixed and produced by the end of October with a release date in November. Stay cool!"
25/9/02......Seegar has been busy writing and rehearsing in the new studio facility at Seegar Productions Ltd in preparation for the single (mini CD) recording and in the longer term, the new album project.
In the meantime,Touched is getting ready for its second major marketing push involving major record companies and radio stations.Maybe even a little trade press advertising.The 2nd phase of the campaign is being prepared as we speak.(fingers crossed).
So....busy time in the Seegar camp.

13/9/02...Seegar Productions Ltd is Installing a studio!
As always, time in the studio is precious and can sometimes be a little rushed when others are involved. Seegar productions is in the process of installing a new studio to allow further recordings to be made with the degree of experimentation that should be afforded to such creativity.Time becomes Seegars tool as it were.It also gives Seegar some choice as to where and when he records. This doesnt mean that collaborations with Andrew Sparkes at Made to Measure Studios are at an end. Far from it. The project called Touched was so enjoyable to do, it is certainly Seegars intention to record with Andrew again.(his time is precious too and he is in demand)
Anyway, there is certainly enough material for a Touched 2 but perhaps a single (Need Your Heart Today) before that to freshen up the portfolio and give people a taster of whats to come.....Stay tuned.

Seegar has been on tour.Non musical,although Touched was certainly played.Seegar paid a flying visit (on business..Photo session on Eriskay beside the clear blue waters,on a deserted beach) to North Uist in the Outer Hebrides (off the west coast of Scotland) and went down through Benbecula, South Uist and finally to Eriskay.Seegar was toying with the idea of living on North Uist.Still not dead as an idea. A hugely inspirational place for writing.
Touched has been on tour in Scandanavia.At this very moment,the album is being played on 2 ships sailing between Helsinki and Stockholm. Cruise ships.Cool or what?
Seegar used to live in Helsinki some years ago.

1. A fan wrote to Seegar saying she had played Touched to her best friend and she played Lullaby to her and Lesley (the friend) got goosebumps.
2. Seegar went North of the Border at the end of July as far as Inverness.This is the first time he has been up there since Touched was released but was amazed at the reaction.People insisting on copies and asking for the words to the songs.Seegar says..." It is truly wierd to hear people singing your songs back to you and telling you they have some meaning for them....WOW"

I was listening to Beautiful Woman and had to get off the bus one stop early and walk cos once it started,I didn't want it interrupted. 12/6/02 Made to Measure Music, Birmingham has put together a compilation of featured artists and sent them round the publishing industry. Seegar is included on the compilation and VERY well represented.
24/5/02 Seegar appears on new Uriah Heep DVD. (in the extra features session)
This week several promo edition cds (4 tracks) have been sent out to a variety of UK radio stations mainly but also some in Canada,USA and Holland just to test the water. Maybe Seegar is closer to you than you think.
One purchaser of cd said....I go to bed singing your songs,I wake up singing them in my head.I have to stop playing the cd sometimes just so I can give myself a rest. Just one of the many positive things coming back to Seegar. A Canadian fan from BC said she heard them on Vitaminic and they sound absolutely wonderful. The word is spreading!!!

The rest are templates designed by Vitaminic and chosen by Seegar to best match the front cover illustration.The cost is £10 for the cd and £2.36 for post and packing.(£12.36 in total) You can also purchase individual tracks from Vitaminic.(bit weird but its wot they do)
When MP3 is up and running for sales the cover will be more complete but without a Seegar label on the actual cd.So, a bit better than Vitaminic.
THE ONLY way to get the original artwork in TOTAL (although music is the same from wherever you order) is to order direct from Seegar Productions Ltd. If you wish to order direct then e-mail Seegar direct at seegar@seegar.co.uk and after an auto reply initially, you will get a personal response telling you what to do. (It's cheaper too).
11/5/02..... TOUCHED IS RELEASED. Today,Touched was released worldwide.
10/5/02.... Few bits and pieces today. Sorted out a PO Box now for people to order Touched through.The price will be £10 with P&P at £1. So £11 in all. Seegar Productions Ltd does not have a trading account yet so we can't take orders yet but all that should be sorted by next week.(assuming Companies House are happy with documentation) All tracks have been uploaded to MP3.com for approval.Similarly with Vitaminic who are quicker and far more flexible it would appear.We have arranged for 2 tracks to be available for download on Vitaminic.(Long Way Home and Look Away) Heart's on Fire will be removed as a download and only available to persons who register as a Seegar fan!!All other tracks are available on the cd opf course and will not be made available for download.There will also be available a small amount of promotional 4 track cds made available for £5 including post and packing.(that's £5 in total.). Tracks on promo are: Heart's on Fire,Beautiful Woman,Love on The Mend ,and Wonder of You.) Once Mp3.com is up and running there will be streaming versions of beautiful Woman and Lullaby but that will change to match Vitaminic once up and running.

7/5/02....Buying of Touched...... There will be several ways hopefully.1. Direct from Seegar by sending a cheque to Seegar Productions Limited po Box (being set up now) 2. If demand is sufficient then maybe by credit card. Direct To Seegar on a secure basis of course. 3 Through MP3.com an American based internet company that markets and sell artists like Seegar.(awaiting acceptance by Mp 3 as this is being typed) and finally 4. Through Vitaminic.co.uk an (Italian based company) which specialises in Europe but does the same thing as MP 3. Both Vitaminic and MP3 take 50% of profits and charge the earth for any cds they manufacture so obviously better to go direct if you can. We are almost there tho'.The good thing about the internet companies is that you can download one track from Vitaminic and hear a few on MP3......once they are approved which can take up to 10 days. CD will be £10 plus postage and packing direct from Seegar productions.It will be more expensive on Vitaminic and still to price set in dollars for MP3 but will have to match the American market at around $14.99.
6/5/02.... Seegar goes to Badminton Horse Trials.3 car loads of people went and played Touched all day long from the cars to anyone who wanted to hear.Henia..a Seegar fan,insisted on playing Touched and described the results.... After a few drinks the guys were air guitaring to Long Way Home and headbanging and later that night everyone was slow dancing to Wonder of You. People on either side of us were joining in and were quite clearly enjoying being "Touched". Last word to Henia...People were asking me..." Who is this guy?...it was fantastic she said. Very exciting.Word IS getting around.
30/4/02.... TODAY SAW THE SALE OF THE FIRST EVER SEEGAR CD. Although not officially released till mid May, a gentleman was insistent on purchasing an advance copy and got it signed into the bargain. Well done that man. Seegar Productions Ltd is being set up as we speak. Seegar becomes a UK company. Things are moving a bit here! Although not on sale yet officially, we are allowing a select band of people listen to Touched to engender some interest and the reactions continue to be overwhelming.
29/4/02... Investigating possibilities of direct web payments to Seegar to make it as easy as possible to get hold of Touched. There is also a PO Box number address being set up for Seegar Productions Ltd so that cheques and correspondence can be sent. Things are on the move as they say....
29/4/02... The CD has now been finalised and the first few rolled off the presses today. Artwork options were presented late last week and the final cover (very different from below) has been decided upon. It had been decided to release a 4 track promo for distribution to selected radio stations.Track listing will be.... Heart's on Fire,Beautiful Woman,Love on The Mend and Wonder of You. This is of course in addition to the main CD ,Touched.
28/4/02... Seegar Productions Limited is about to take off. This company is being set up to take care of all things Seegar.It will start trading in the next 2 weeks.

5/04/02..... Front cover illustration design has been created and is having the text put onto it by the illustrator. First rushes of the back cover have been done too. Mock ups have been put together to evaluate and they look good.(Well done Helly and Alasdair)
25/03/02......Options for cd cover/booklet being considered and marketing options being considered too.Special 4 track mini cd has been produced and mastered for Publishers/music press/radio and in similar fashion a cover design will have to be done.
23/03/02.......Close circle previews of selected tracks are more than very encouraging.(overwhelming might be a good word)
20/03/02.......Touched is complete and through it's production process with Seegar and producer Andrew.
